Hi Guys,
I've been approached by a gun company to make two signature knives for them. I have posted some pic's of the smaller of the two. The blade is forged from 5160 with a brass hand guard and Turkish walnut scales. I will post pictures of the larger blade when it's finished.
All comments welcome.

Regards.

Steve.

Hi Guys

I have finished the second of the two signature knives. This one is exaclty the same spec as the first knife except the blade is 6 1/2" long, where as the blade on the first knife was 4 1/2" long. I will post pictures of the sheath as soon as I have finished it. Thanks for looking as always.

All the best

Steve

You get a helluva polish on those blades....I enjoy the transition from the forge to mirror-finish. :)

Thank you for your comments gentlemen. There are some seriously good makers who post on this forum and seeing their work encourages me to push myself always that little bit more.

All the best

Nice Blade shape

In my humble option loosing the file work and tapering the tang would take it to the next level

While I usually dislike polished blades, this contrast makes it look very, very sexy. Awesome work!

To call those knives stunning would be the understatement of the year - I can't come up with a word that describes how impressive those are. Phenomenal job!!

I have to agree I really didn't want to put all of that file work on the knives. I've always felt less is more, but the customer had this design and that's what they wanted. Is it practical to take on an African hunting safari may be not, would they look good on your belt while you're stalking your prey with your 500 nitro express hunting rifle I like to think they would.
I have an order for a Brute D' Forge Bowie to make for a customer and I will be making that with a tapered tang and polished primary grinds, I really can't wait to start it to be honest. It was one that I had designed for myself, but this gentleman really liked it so that's what I will do. I'll post pic's as soon as I have completed it.
Thanks for looking gents.

All the best

Steve

Hi Guys

I have finally finished the sheath to the second of the two prototype knives. I have also included at the end a picture of the original knife that I was given to develope these two from. Thank you for taking the time to follow this thread and for all of your positive comments.

All the best

Steve
