Protractor

Well , protractor is one of many tools we need in knive making ......I have something similar as shown on first picture .It work well , but my son is played with my phone and now I have this ... I checked the accuracy and it works perfectly .I found that It is more practical .... until you break phone
I have not met anything about this on the forum, so I thought it was good to share :thumbup:

The tool shown is called a gonometer. It measures and marks angles. A protractor is somewhat similar, but not the same.

Both of those pictures are protractors. A Goniometer has a fixed arm and an adjustable arm to measure the angle. Mostly used in orthopedics to measure range of motion of arm, elbow, knee, etc.
