I am really a private person, more at ease alone than in a crowd. I have friends and even a few who I consider close friends. My best friend committed suicide several years ago and I will never find someone to fill the void he left. Most of you here could speak to me on the street and I would have no idea who you were. When I am on this forum I feel like I am surrounded by friends and just wanted to say thank you to all of you especially john for being my friend and allowing me to be a member of such a great group. I'm damn proud to be a BF member and part of the JK family!

Well said. Of course anyone who hangs out at the WSS/JK forums for any length of time feels the same way.

And I am glad to have you here, and to call you my friend. We seem to have our own little "family" here, and I would not have it any other way!

Agreed. I started the JK Supporter's thread years ago because John has such a real presence. He's approachable and his prices aren't off the charts. I own more of his knives than any maker...that should say a lot.

I hesitate to count my knives or have them all out at one time. That way "she" never knows exactly how many I have or how true it is when I tell her I need another. I do know that I also have many more from John than any other maker and plan to order others that I will "need"

Yep,that pretty much sums up my thoughts perfectly, especially the first sentence,I hate crowds, but love logging in here to see whats going on.
I even learned a thing or two these past few years.;)
And I also have more JKs than any other.

I'm kind of a newb at the JK knives forum, but it definitely has a family feel to it. Where else could you have a secret santa with people you have never met?

I came for the knives, of course, but stay for the friends!

Don't think it needs to be said again but I totally agree with your sentiments.

My first custom knife and every one of them since are all John's.

Can't remember when the last time was that I posted any place on BF than here.

I enjoy the people, the posts and the guy who makes the magic.

couldn't agree more, sounds sad but having moved country and living pretty far out I have about "lost" regular friends but for you guys, good to know it's not just my imagination that this place feels special ;)

The JK Forum is the home of the best group of folks that I've never met. :)

Jeff
