My 9 yr old just hit his first home run!!!!!!!:thumbup:
I told my boy if you hit a home run I will give you $20 bucks.
He hit it way out into left field. I was the third base coach and was telling him to stay on third and not run to home plate and he glance over his shoulder and kept on going. I was yellin ""Come back"" while the ball was in the air going towards the catcher, and he slid into home and was safe! I asked him why he didn't stop, and he said " I thought I could make it and I wanted those 20 bucks" I felt a lump in my throat as all his team was patting him on the back. Just thought I would share this with yall.
