If you want a more personal name, try something like Rob Roy (MacGregor) or "The Bruce" after Robert the Bruce or even the Scottish hero, MacBeth, whom Shakespeare slandered mightily.
And then, there is "Mons Meg" the whacking great cannon at Edinburgh Castle which is something of a Scottish landmark. Or, perhaps "Iona" after the island where St. Columba (Colum Cille) set up his first church when he came over from Eire to convert the Scots.
Finally, there is Flora MacDonald, the lady who helped the Bonnie Prince Charlie escape to Skye and thence to France after the disaster at Culloden in 1747 and is a Scots hero.
"Though the waves leap,
Soft shall ye sleep,
Ocean's a royal bed.
Rock'd in the deep,
Flora will keep,
Watch by your weary head.
So speed bonnie boat like a bird on the wing,
'Onward!' the sailors cry,
Carry the lad that was born to be king,
Over the sea to Skye."
