Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the Rat/ESEE pron here on Bladeforums. You all make it real easy on choosing a good blade. After searching around and reading alot I purchase both the Izula and RC-5P. The Izula is here in my hand and what a great knife. I cant wait to get the RC-5 here.

Its here and I changed the 550 cord to a Coyote Tan. Let me know what ya think! My wrap still sucks but I have enough to practice with now :thumbup:

Porn...pRon... all the same:) Ill post some pics of the Izula and my crappy wrap job first. Then Ill update when the RC-5 comes in.
 
Received my HEST today :) and a IZULA last week both are awsome tools;). They are both built to last a life time.:thumbup:
 
Congrats on your new Izula and ESEE 5! They will make for a great pairing and I'm sure you'll be nothing but happy with them.

The handle scales might be something you'd like. I sure like mine. :)
 
Thought about trying the scales. I kinda like the wrap though. Once i get my order of 550 in ill see if I can get the wrap a little better. Ill probably end up getting the scales any ways. Knives are like guns you can never have too many and you are never satisfied!!
 
Good combo esee-5 and izula. The wait for goodies coming in the mail sucks:eek:, but it is nice to know its coming:D
 
I think you should have the bases covered with that pair. Ok, you might need a junglas, or a light machete. Then again there are so many more ESEE knives, when will the sickness end?
