At 11:57pm on 5/1, our little girl finally decided to make her dramatic entrance and introduce herself to some eager parents. I've got plenty of pics, but no time to upload them at the moment. The only downside is that we've been at the hospital since Thursday night, so I haven't been able to check the mail for the new Fiddleback I'm expecting. I guess this is the one instance where a new FB doesn't take prioirity:D Mama and baby are both happy and healthy and papa couldn't be more excited.

Congratulations!
May she bring much joy and pride to your family and to the world.

Great news JC!! Congratulations!

Whew...

Finally, a few moments to catch our breath. We were discharged from the hospital Sunday afternoon and fortunately my mother-in-law hung out with us until earlier today. The MIL can be a little overwhelming sometimes, but it was helpful to have her around so we could catch a nap here and there without worrying about our little girl.

Without further adieu, here are some pics of our little Bailey Gail...

It may sound silly, but I love swaddling her...

Obviously I'm biased, but I think she is the most beautiful newborn I have ever seen. Our pediatrician couldn't get over how perfect her head was despite being born naturally.

She likes napping in her car seat and yes, I know not to swaddle her while actually riding in the car seat.

Congrats, have fun not getting any sleep for the next few months. Beautiful little girl you got there.

She's beautiful Josh. I always loved swaddling mine too! My first was Hannah Gail, so I like your name choice too!

She's gorgeous. My wife was Brenna Gayle (before changing her middle name to her maiden name), so I'm fond of it as well:thumbup:...even if it's spelled differently;)

That is crazy, my wife's name was Brenda Gail before changing her middle to her maiden name. What a coincidence. My MIL is very fond of Gail as a middle name and I think it sounds great with Bailey too.

Could it be the same woman:eek:

Seriously, beautiful baby bro! Did you feel your life change the moment you looked in her eyes?

I also managed to find time to check out my new model Fiddleback Forge Bushcrafter. Not exactly bushcraft, but I did use it to open an infant and toddler thermometer kit, which was in one of those heat sealed plastic packages. As always, Andy's razor edge made quick work of it.

boy she has trouble written all over that face!!! GOOD FOR YOU

Now that you have a new born in the house, I feel you have too much responsibility to care for that Bushy.

Send her over here till you your daughter starts walking.

:D
