Howdy Partner:

My friend wants a custom knife made with some antlers from a recent deer hunt. He is not a knife person and I want to make sure he gets something that will turn him on to knives.

What would be an excellent design for his first custom fixed blade? He needs a well rounded design that will allow him to skin during the deer season but also versatile enough for other basic tasks during duck season….

His price range is $200-300.
