Can anyone give me the brand name of a really good pruner ? One that's on a telescoping pole 9' max with saw and clipper. Most of the typical hardware stuff is junk .If I knew a brand I could at least get it online.

I've got a Corona,I think it came from Chase Pitkin which was owned by Wegmans(they went out of business when Lowes and Home Depot moved in),I would think someone else should sell them. It's a fiberglass telescoping pole with a saw(I'm not real crazy about the saws on any of them)but I've abused the s--t out of this thing the past few years and it's working good,I did have to replace the rope this year but I leave the thing hanging out in a tree most of the time. The head is aluminum so it doesn't rust,I shoot a little oil in it when I go to use it and it works good.

I have a Corona as well, but I was thinking that Mete was looking for REALLY good, instead of simply adequate. The two names above are expensive, but they are professional grade arborist tools, the analogy being the difference between Craftsman and Snap-On.
