My wife's family has an event coming up for their church group and she asked me to make a dozen of my my mini ti pry bars for her as gifts. Then it changed to two dozen, then 28 of them and before it kept growing I figured I'd better get the order filled or its gonna be three dozen here shortly. :D

Seriously, April and I did these over the last few days after I did other things in the shop I've been working on so they didn't get in the way of what I've got to do here and she bead blasted all of them, I anodized them once I got in the house calling it a day and she wrapped them after I colored them. Man her tie jobs are excellent here compared to mine. I should have had her wrap the ones I sold. The flat bed scanner never does these justice and you'll have to excuse the reflection but I thought the bulk of color from the anodizing and the colorful cord wrapping would brighten up and liven up the forum some. Notice how she double and triple patterned some of the wrap jobs too. I thought that was really clever.

Eventually I'll get around to doing more of these for more fun here but for right now this order is filled and I can move on to other things.

No but there have been a few times when I've anodized a few items that had a hint of orange tint to them. You have to find that happy medium between two colors and you can kind of see the orange near that mauve color spectrum but its hard to duplicate.

You should come up with a logo to put on your clips and the prybars

I did. Its STR and its signed on everyone of them. ;) If I had my ruthers the STR stamp I currently use would be even smaller print. I've never been much for big ego all over blades or items. One of the biggest turn offs to me about some models of knives is the big signatures and logos so I intentionally did mine smaller and less noticed. It doesn't take away something from the product that way IMO. :)

After one phone call awhile back + trading a few emails back & forth,I think I would have guessed that.
Totally agree re: big logos & big signatures and blatant advertising overkill,STR!
