Once set free, it settled right down. ;)



But, seriously... Some of these are sharp, the rest apparently are sharper, LOL... :thumbup: ...so please don't forget to pay attention to where that edge is while in the excitement of the moment of unwrapping these awesome beasts. :) :)
 
Whoa! Yikes! Glad that didn't happen on mine. I was like an autistic chihuahua with tourettes whilst opening my package, and if the edge had been sticking out like that, I'd not be playing guitar ever again.

Rob, you could learn to play guitar without your hands. You may have to stop wearing thongs in your chopping vids though:p

I noticed my BG BB 13 had a very tight cardboard sleeve. Use caution for sure! In fact I'm finishing up a leather sheath for it just so I don't need to worry about biting through the cardboard every time I got to play with it now. Lol
 
And that guy with the guitar is Mark something from El Cajon. Watched the guy roll a tight Doobie when I was skateboarding around El Cajon back in the 90s. He offered us some but I didn't smoke and he rolled it with his feet.
 
Yowza, I'll be careful for sure, that could leave a nasty mark for someone not being careful.

Wow, that is quite impressive! I admire people that have had some real hurdles in life but find a way to succeed anyways.
 
especially if trying to overcome the saran wrap :)

..... you do know "thong" in Australia is something different than "thong" in the US right ??

One of my good mates got opened up across three fingers by one of my ASH1s when it chewed through the cardboard as he pushed it back in. Mistake he made was picking up the sleeve for a smaller knife and quickly pushing the ASH in. We though we were up for a hospital visit but my kitchen bench surgery did just fine.

Beef has really improved his skills in the last couple years. He has always gotten good edges on blades as long as I've been buying them, but lately they have been scary sharp
 
No kidding! Mine came from BEEF, one of the best edges I've ever received.

And...did I mention...damn these things are heavy! (for a Res-C knife) I think it needs an FFG to bring it more in line with the 1311 weight.
