Thinking up a title for these threads gets harder, anyways I have just come back from a great hike and thought I'd share the pics as always:thumbup:

So this Hike is not the easiest but I think a view earned is always sweeter and my dog was up for it....

The views started to appear as we got more elevation gain....

This is my PSK, I don't know how some of you guys can carry a backpack all the time, even the most advanced back systems still leave you with a sweaty back when working hard ! Obviously if I was on a multi-day Hike I'd have no choice but to take a backpack !!!

More views but still a way to go yet.....talk about lung buster !

At last we hit the top !!!

I tried out the latest addition to my PSK a new sighting mirror....the little sighting hole really helps !!!

OK time for a well earned cuppa before we hit the return leg

look into a vaude pack with aero-flex technology.

i carry my 50L on hikes and sweat cools rather quickly because air can pass between your back and the pack.

cheers..

nice pics btw

Cool pics, I see you training your dog to pose eh.

Trying but man she is a slow learner !!! LOL !:D

Jca21, I do have a Berghaus Freeflow backpack which sounds like it has a similar system to the one you describe but for a short dayhike I get all I need into my Lumber pack ( soon to be swapped for a Maxpedition one ) and keep my back totally free to breathe !

Here was another pic I forgot to add, it's my Mutt trying to destroy a bush as she was bored watchin me drink my tea !!!

Longbow you got me thinking with you on about the " Cuppa ", does anybody else carry a hot drink with them and if so what ?
Some of my brews are Green Tea, Chai Tea and Earl Grey to name but a few !!!

Wow. What an awesome set of pics!! Very nice! Thanks!

Pit's pics always make me want to go back to visit Vancouver, and stay a while.

Beautiful scenery. As always thanks for the great pics, if we can't be out there too, it's the next best thing seeing the pics!!
