PSK Match Case !

Matches have taken a back seat in recent years due to the popularity of ferro-rods and the reliability of Bic's, however , I believe they still have a place in our kits.
I carry two lots, a day glow orange match case full of storm proof matches and a small capsule with some cut down strike anywhere matches. The capsule holds 9 matches and is so small I take it everywhere with me.

I decided to make this small video today showing the capsule and also the correct way to strike a match, yeah I know it sounds obvious but I still see many people striking matches without supporting the head.

You will notice it didn't strike straight away, things never go perfect when you film them !!!!:grumpy:

Et tu, pit?

You, too, have gone to the dark side? - videos? Does that mean I can no longer enjoy when you're out and about? :confused:

I always have matches with me, though I rarely use them. I do carry a few extra boxes in the vehicle though. Give them to people when they ask for a lighter.. always have people asking me for a lighter.. and I don't smoke.

LOL.....there will still be pics Doc, I just think vids are a nice change from time to time !
