Couple of quick questions for you PSP owners... How can I hook this thing up to my TV? The little screen is fine for portability but when I'm in my living room I'd like to hook it up to a bigger screen, at the very least a computer monitor.

Also, I've heard folks talk about putting old Nintendo games (Mario world, etc) on this thing. How do they do that? I've not seen these disks advertised. I'm pretty sure Nintendo wouldn't license Sony to use these games anyhow. Is this some kind of hacking trick?

Thanks in advance for any help... ;)

No idea about the TV trick; as for the nintendo stuff, it is possible even for PC's- they're called emulators. Nintendo, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, even the venerable Atari can be played on the PSP- however IIRC and correct me if I am wrong but, only older versions of the PSP can be "hacked" into and loaded with goodies.

after version 2.5 of the firmware, they got really difficult to hack. I used to get an rss feed from Endgaget that had articles on that type of thing. but it dosen't deliver anymore.

there is also no hardware in the system to support any sort of video out. (i.e. no TV hookups)

I knew someone that hacked a psp, I'm not sure of the exact procedure but he had to downgrade the firmware on the PSP to an older one that could be hacked and then loaded on the hack and then he could load games onto the memory stick
