Just finishing this little paring knife as a Christmas present for my wife.

The blade is 1084 convex ground and the handle is bear bone from a bear I took in Maine this year. It has Cocobolo collars and two brass caps. A lot of time went into this. Small knives are not necessarily easier than larger ones, at least for me!

Nice knife:thumbup:, I gave one of the knives I added filework to, to my wife as a Birthday present this year,

she carries it to work with her every day...says she won't leave home without it now. Who knew, if you're lucky, you can find a lady who likes cutlery as much as we do:D

It has a certain rustic charm to it with the blade, collars and bone handle.

I like it and I think your Wife will cherish it!
