Anyone done a comparison between the PST and Kick? I've seen reviews for both, but no one seems to do comparison of both like I've seen for the old wave vs. new wave threads. For those of you who have/had both, what did you think?

I like the metal file on the original PST, but I cannot deny that the Kick is more comfortable to use due to the zytel inserts.

I don't miss Leatherman's awl...I don't think it was ever that great of an awl to begin with.
It was rather blunt with no reaming edge at all.
It should have been something like the Victorinox SAK awls, or even the one on the Juice models.

OTOH, after only a little sharpening of the point, the awl did fine for starting wood screws, one of my frequent uses of it, and although with a little more difficulty than a SAK awl, can be pushed through leather. At the same time, it is not too sharp to use for accessing recessed buttons, like for example on my car clock. SAK awls, which are great, aren't good for that. The PST awl is also useful to poke and prod around stuff you can't or don't want to touch but also don't want to damage. Although not the best of reamers, Leathermanish awls can do a lot of things not strictly intended for the tool.

Also, there are awl those puns that can be squeezed out of them.:D
