Thought I'd share this weekends swap meet finds. Un-logo 2 blade Barlow
with some eye catching scales. Unfortunately, both blades are bent. No
visible makers mark. I gave $2 for the knife.
Two stalls down at the bottom of a milk crate I found a perfect sized well
worn leather sheath. I gave $1. The leather really drank up the re-hydration
lube. Now , all I have to find is a skinny belt to place it on.
I want to give straightening both blades a bit of time and thought as I
don't want to break anything. Knife and sheath will join the Barlow Brigade
in my collection.

Anybody recognize the knife maker ?

As for the maker of that knife, my guess would be someone in Pakistan.

If you search the Internet for "GRANDDAD'S BARLOW WITH MULTICOLOR WOOD HANDLE" you'll find a knife that looks just like that. (Can't link you to it because they are not a BF supporting vendor.) Hope this helps.

Ok, Thanks guys. Offshore junk. Not worth risking injury attempting to straighten.
It will be re-cycle. Going to keep the sheath.

Pretty much any knife with handles like that is going to be of lower quality or worse.

The handles are a dead give away, actually pretty durable handle material, unfortunately usually attached to junky knives.

I’d use it, or give it away to the next person that asked to borrow a knife.

That same handle material/pattern shows up on a lot of Frost Cutlery stuff
