well when i'm wrong i will admit it - the last few months i've ragged emersons unmercifully, poor lock up, blades ya cant sharpen, etc - all based on my CQC7 production model - a few weeks ago my bud got an emerson commander black plain edge w/wave - i looked at it, and let him carry one of my AFCK's and he let me borrow the commander - he wasnt REALLY concerned about scratches he is gonna use the knife, he's a framing contractor, but of course i didnt try to scratch it, etc - anyway i am impressed -carried for 1 week- great action, blade is SHARP, very good carry knife, i am gonna buy one - i guess i just had a lemon - now please lord let the commander i get NOT be a lemon lol - i guess thats the prob w/no b&m stores, you really cant compare the knives in hand, look for a good one - but i admit, a good emerson is a helluva good knife - now if they only started grinding the bevels on the right side.......oh well lets not go there lol-

so ernie and company, please accept this knife nutz apology, commander is a helluva knife.....

As several people (myself included) have pointed out, any company can make a lemon or two. It happens. It happens in knives, guns, cars, houses, damn near anything people put their hands on.

I know from talking to Ernie that is first priority is customer satisfaction.

Thanks

John
