Public Apology...

Kevin (Spark) emailed me this to me last night:

"It's been forwarded to me that you are repeatedly advertising for Triple Aught Design on the forums. Don't."

At first, I was a little put off by this. Then, I did a search of my own posts and saw how Kevin and whoever forwarded to him could feel that I was advertising for Triple Aught Design. BTW, most of those posts are in this forum. That's why I'm posting this apology here.

Kevin, I apologize. I didn't mean to do any advertising for Triple Aught Design, but I can see how you might feel like I was. That's not an excuse, just an explanation.

To those in this forum who I might have offended by mentioning Triple Aught Design, I also apologize.

Lynn, I never thought that u'd been "advertising" for TAD... I certianly didn't think that u were working for 'em... or getting a discount 'cause of all the "good words" u've put in for them...

You might been a little evangelical about them as of late... but really... this is a knife forum... in the Spyderco forum u'll find ppl convinced that they're the best knives in the world. in the Strider forum, u'll find ppl u will get violent if a single insult is thrown towards their knives... (but admittedly, Mick will do some pretty badass things to disprove the troll ) Highspeed Tools for Hardcore Inviduals... damn straight... ... Emerson forums yet again will you see the same thing... people willing to tell u what they think the Number 1 Hard Use Knives are...


so really, i didn't see anything wrong with you mentioning (repeatedly) what u thougth the best online knife store was... people have no problem saying what they think they're best knife *maker* is around here...



so lynn, even if u feel like :footinmou don't... just chill with your bada$$ TADGear...

i certainly bear no ill will towards ya for mentioning TAD it gets mentioned so much anyway on the forums i frequent i never noticed, if ya were mentioning them.........

Dealers are mentioned in the various forums all the time. To the forumite (and I use this term very loosely) who ran to Spark, what's your problem?
