There will be chicken trucks swerving to avoid the storm of grinder dust coming out of the shop!

Between Andy and I, they'll have to shut that chicken plant down completely from steel contamination!!

Speaking of which, when are you going to kick Andy in the ass to finish that "you know what"?

He ground prototype number one which will be larger than originally planned. I will pick it up later this week and do the tricky bits. I have the pin placement on prototype 2 which I will drop by later in the week. Once we get things dailed in, it could happen pretty fast. I'm not gonna lie, I am pretty stoked about the potential. Ever thought about doing one?

I've more than thought about it. I'll have to show you the drawings.

You are makin a fillet knife, right Dylan? A Fletcher Fillet knife?! Oh yeah!! Say it's true! Say it true! I've been working on Andy for years... ;)

Dylan,
Profile one of your designs in 01. Don't do the bevel and leave it soft. Leave an inch of stock behind the blade the full width or a little wider than the blade. Not sure I will make it in time tonight but I will get it as soon as I can. Focus on the blade because the rest has to be done after the salient couple of pins are positioned.

Best of luck to Fletcher Knives with your upcoming expansion!!!

It's so great to see talented and passionate knife makers growing their business like this: you guys really have something special happening down there in Georgia. Keep it flowing, I have pulled up a chair and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Oh schmittie...I'm with you there. I would love to see some fillet knives available from one of these makers. I live pretty close to the Grohmann Knife factory so I've always used their fillet knives and they do the job better than fine, but man...I too would love to have a Fiddleback or a Fletcher Fillet knife :) That would be a sweet, sweet day.

I thought Dylan was more into flaying knives... :)

This is also exciting. The family and I eat a heck of a lot more fish than game up here but a skinning knife is always fun :D Can't wait to see the next step for Fletcher Knives!

I didn't see this until now, but I'll get one profiles for you so the next time you're in, it'll be there.
