My name is Dave. I occasionally make foolish videos involving cutting, chopping, and otherwise maiming things, and I've made many more in the past.
With that out of the way, every so often I receive emails asking for a specific video ("What does this red 'X' mean?") or picture that's been long since removed. Allow me to explain the situation here, once and for all.
My ISP, Wave Cable, is a pretty good one as far as ISP's go but they have rules. One of those rules is that I limit the amount of junk attributed to my account to under 10 megs. Unreasonable? Not really. The service is good, they're helpful when I have problems, and they've never once hassled me about bandwidth usage. (And there have been times where I was surprised by this.) By and large I have no complaints with them but the 10 megapopsicle thing is certainly a limiting factor with regards to what I have posted and how long it can remain there. It's just something that I have to deal with. The result is that I can only leave something up for so long, then it must be removed in order to make room for something else.
Fortunately, I have friends in low places and one of them is blessed with more web space and bandwidth than he will ever be able to use. Recognizing a parasitic loss like myself for what I am, he graciously offered me some space. Henceforth, all of my garbage will be posted in one central location. Here is the link:
Dave's Foolish Videos
Most (but not all) of it is related to khukuris, swords, and chopping stuff up. My ultimate goal is to shift the majority of my accumulated junk here to make things easier. As time progresses and my past misdeeds are brought to my attention those broken links will be repaired. There's not much there at present but the content will increase as time goes by and I get around to it.
What this means for you: all of my wasted bytes will be available whenever one would want to pollute their monitor with them.
What this means to me: I don't want any more emails asking me about where they went.
Standard rules apply. If you want to use one of these for whatever reason (God knows why) be sure to mention who made them. If there's something in particular that you want to see - and assuming that I have the equipment and it's within my abilities - email me and I'll see what I can do.
To be honest, most of the earlier stuff (and some of the later stuff) is quite embarrassing. Don't expect to see it again. I reserve the right to stroke my ego.
