I'd just like to say a MASSIVE thank you, publicly, to Meako. A) for selling me his spare 2014 forum knife, which has enabled me to keep the collection complete. And B) for being incredibly patient with me while I got organised. Things have been, let's say, hectic in my life this last several months & I dropped the ball here. (And also in missing the order cut off, obviously!)

I'd also like to say thank you to Gus and Charlie, both of whom have been very helpful in the past when things did not go smoothly. And of course, to everyone involved in the forum knife project(s?) over the years.

Beers are on me if we ever have a chance to meet, gentlemen.

Regards
Matt

I assume it has arrived?
That's good news.
Patience is NOT one of my virtues but I have been known to travel long distances for beer.:D
I don't really know why I bought 2 of them. I think If I remember back to those far off days correctly that I simply wanted to help bolster (:p) the the 2014 order.
I certainly don't have any aspirations nor ability to be a wheeler dealer or flipper flopper of knives.
Anyway I hope you like it Matt.
They are one of the best yet.
cheers.

What Dave said! ;)
Kudos to Meako for helping Matt to "live the dream" of getting a Forum knife, and to Matt for acknowledging Meako's help; way to go, guys!

Beer is on me Meako, if you ever get to Vancouver, the Oregon show, or anywhere nearby!!
You too Matt, Dave and GT!

No worries.:)
Generosity and comradeship are hallmarks of this little part of the internet.

Meako, you're a diamond geezer for sure mate

Hi Jon

I have no idea if it's arrived. The in laws (whose address I gave you, as our house may have been vacated - long story) may not have told my wife. Certainly there's not been the usual, pointed 'What have you bought this time?' :D
I'm back in the UK on the next stint at the moment, so the 2014 is something to look forward to when I get home. :)
In the meantime I'm keeping my eyes open for folding treasure. ;)
Is there anything here you'd like me to watch out for & bring back?

It's arrived!

Well actually, it arrived weeks ago, just after I left for this stint in the UK.
This time, I've brought my family.
However....

My darling(?) wife declined to bring the knife with her.

Does this amount to grounds for divorce? :D

LEGEND Meako!!!! Good on you:thumbup:

Nice appreciation thread FG:cool: If I can get in on the beer get together please count me in:thumbup::D

Grounds for divorce? NO
Grounds for the purchasement of a "penalty knife" AFFIRMATIVE.:D

glad to hear it arrived OK.
Cheers.
