PUK: Earlier models/interest waning?

Hello there. An Emerson I've always liked is the PUK. It seems to be a nice handy size and a stout little knife. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember this knife being avail. with olive drab handles (either the polymer or were they scales/micarta?) at one time. If you have a PUK, let's see them! Were there many different varieties?

Since I rarely see them for sale, other than new from a dealer, can I assume that (A) not many were ever sold, or (B) purchasers like them too much to place them up for sell.

Regarding sheaths for this little blade - other than OnScene tactical (only because I already knew) what other sheathmakers (kydex or leather) can sheath this little one up without sending the blade to them?

Eric, I have always liked this model too. In fact, I'm currently trying to trade a SpecWar for a PUK. If you get the chance, watch the movie "Tears of the Sun". It stars Bruce Willis as a navy commando. All the knives used in the movie appear to be Emersons. Including the PUK. Check it out if you all ready haven't! ;)
