Anyone have a Police Utility Knife? I'm looking into getting one (obviously) and was wondering if anyone could maybe jot down their thoughts and maybe get me a photo or two of the sheath.

Im also intrested in the PUK but imo its a bit overpriced. i would pay 160$ for an emerson folder, but for that amount of money i can get a much better fixed blade. Just for my 2 cent.
Anyway, i love My four Emerson:D
 
Haze--- The GW is a great FB but with the Cultie, you get a lighter knife with a slim profile that can do the work of a larger blade. Blame INFI! :)
 
I'v got the smog warden so its thinner than the regular wardens, that knife is one of the best bush crafy knives I'v used :):thumbup:
 
i have had a PUK and while i love emerson folders i have never been a big fan of the FB's, while they are ok i think theres other stuff which is better for the $$, just my .02.

i dont even really like any of the custom FB's, none have ever "grabbed" me lol.
 
The EKI La Griffe is one fixed blade that is defo good, great even. I liked the EKI one alot more than the actual Perrin La Gs I'v handled.

The fixed blade kerambits pretty good to, I would have prefered it to have a smaller blade personally but its still a nice piece.

The Emerson fixed blade Persian is one knife that did just get it all right IMO.
I have been trying to buy one of those for many years now.
 
Haze, got any pics of the FB Persian? How long has it been disc'd? Sounds like an interesting blade.
 
I wouldn't pay $160 for one but I know where they're available for $90 which is why I asked. I'm looking into the Karambit a bit now, always time to look around...

The fixed blade Persian was/is only a custom made piece. I'll see if I can dig up the pics I have.

Its been a grail knife for me since I first got into Emersons but i'v had no luck with one yet.
 
yep the fixed blade persian is cool, i didnt even think of it lol, only bad is IIRC he only made a couple or 3 of 'em, cool knife though, also IIRC the FB persians were the basis for the folding persians.

never been a big fan of the griffe though its ok too i just like FB's to be a bit bigger, but if i was limited (by law) to a short FB ya could do worse than a griffe, i do like some of the perrin customs, really my fav FB's for edc is bud nealys stuff, i really like them & have a amoeba and pesh kebz.
