I have a old True Temper Kelly Works Pulaski that I want to rehandle, how long of a handle should I buy?

36" is all I've ever seen.

Yep, that's the standard. And I think the best bet.

I've seen a few modified with longer, like 40 or 42", for less stooping and sore back when digging fireline or trails. Not sure I'm sold on that overall but it does make the adze less tiring to run.
