Pull down shop curtain

I am rearranging my shop. The forging and grinding area has an 8' opening to the rest of the shop where my machining equipment and "cleaner" area is. It feels so nice being open than I don't want to put a door between the two areas. I am thinking about installing a roller shade on the ceiling across the opening that I can pull down whenever I'm grinding. Afterwards It can be retracted back up to the ceiling.
I am concerned that a typical window shade won't hold up very long. Does anyone know of a heavier grade alternative? When I looked online, all I could find were industrial warehouse curtains which were huge.
I'm only looking for something retractable. Thanks in advance for any suggestions offered.

Buy a sliding "welding curtain" (AKA Strip Door Curtain) from eBay or other source. They are heavy plastic strips that slide on a ceiling guide like the curtains in the ER do. They keep most of the dust and all of the sparks in the grinding area. They come in clear and many transparent colors.

You can also buy the material in rolls and sheets and make your own "roll up" shade with a piece of PVC pipe. This will be cheaper, and may work just as good.

I use the walk-through plastic slats like often separate walk-in coolers from other rooms.

And it's easy to see through and not feel claustrophobic.

I understand they are NOT retractable, but I didn't know if you had considered this route - or not.

Thanks guys. While the ones mentioned do not pull out of the way, the idea led me to find something called accordion strip doors which are made from a clear pvc. They are ceiling mounted and pull to one side. I am waiting for a quote for an 8.5' opening. FYI the company Stacy linked do have "body shop" curtains which are solid, but can be pulled to the side.

i too went with butchers curtains and am glad i did custom cut to 1/4" off the floor gret for keeping dust controled

See the Idea of Warehouse Separation Curtains is quite awesome because the window shade are quite heavy as compared to curtains. Moreover the expense budget will also increase with window shades.
