Does anyone wear pull-on boots when hiking or camping?

And by "pull-on" I mean boots with no laces.
Just cowboy boots, ropers, wellingtons, muck boots, etc....

Pictures are always welcome.

Thanks,
Allen

I wear Sorel Mucklucks in the winter, warmest boots I've ever owned.

Most of my camping is horse camping, so yes. I usually wear my Ariats. Not much for warmth but, when you add a wool sock they're pretty nice.

Big thumbs up!!! for Muck boots. Best winter footwear for me around the house and being outdoors, if I am not hiking.

I wear a pair of Doc Martens Engineer boots that are similar to the redback boots except they are aged looking brown. I love them for everyday wear. But for hiking or camping I usually stick with some type of lace up boot.

I have two sets of snake boots, one lace-up with lugged soles and the other Chippewas. The Chippewas are pull-ons with a low-tread sole that works well in sandy desert terrain. My biggest problem was that I have large calves from years of climbing/lifting/cycling and the shafts of the Chippewas were too tight.

My casual and outdoor wear are the Aussie Redbacks. Couldn't be happier. All Aussie made and (here at least) cheaper than the Chinese made and much better quality.

I wear both the minnetonka softsoled ankle sized mocs and the kneehighs. Only problem is if you wear em on concrete you'll wear the soles out in two weeks... other than that they are so awesome for tracking and backcountry hiking...

I didnt know blundstones werent made in Australia anymore.

One time I went to a shoestore determined not to purchase offshore shoes.

3 different stores had nothing that wasnt vietnam, phillipines or china made.

I kind of gave up on it after that.

I wear blunnies as well and do remember the box stating they were made somewhere other than Australia. Thailand, perhaps? Too bad, but it didn't really surprise me.

Unless I'm jogging or wearing shorts I'm usually wearing my Wolverine Wellingtons. Great boots, very comfortable and not very expensive either. And they let my feet breath more than lacers.

Yes, mine say Made in Thailand. I didn't know that when I purchased them.:( My boots had some QC issues also but not severe enough to return them. I believe the Rossi Endura boots are made in Australia.

At least Thailand has labour laws.

I really dont care where my boots are made, as long as they are put together well and hold up to what I need them for.
