Pull rating?

How do you guys rate the pull of your blades? I see the ratings but was wondering if there is a specific way to classify it? If not, couldn't one person's 6 be different than another person's 6?

Personally, I consider something like a Vic Pioneer to be a 5, with 10 being barely able to open and 1 staying barely closed on its own with almost imperceptible snap.

That's exactly right. Hard to come to a consensus since some people like backsprings on the softer side. Others like me like them a bit stouter.
