Hi all. Ordered my first GEC the other night. It's a Tidioute Moose 1095/Burnt Stag. One blade for work/play and the other for food prep. It should be here in a few days. Now I must be patient. Anyway, from seeing all the positive fed back from ya'll on this brand, I think I'm gonna be more than happy!

Sorry. Tried to post a pic. No luck. :(

My gosh I was going to start this very same thread ,I was even going to use the term "pulled the trigger"! Mine is a 2 bladed 1095 scout with oiled cow bone from KSF which was even an extra 10% off. I will go post a pic right now. I will try to do one for the Moose as well.

Here is my eagerly awaited GEC ,a fantastic deal at 67$ US shipped to Canada.

Have they come out with a 3.5" closed slipjoint yet?

I am not sure what pattern Sir Woodley is getting or i would post one for him?

I also really liked the 1095 bone Barlow.

I've been looking at them,I've had 2,can't wait for something in the 3.5" size

I know what you mean. That Amherst I have fits in jeans perfect. I think the way trappers are made the just go into a perfect rest position.

You're gonna love that Moose. I have basically the same thing- the burnt stag muskrat, and it's great. It's a very nice pattern- and is as solidly built as they come.
