Pulling the trigger

I am going to pull the trigger on a esee 4 I am just stuck on the 4P and the 4P OD. I really like the olive drab but know knotting about the feel of G10. I have a rc3 and live the micarta handle. So is the g10 a big difference in feel from the micarta?

i have both G10 and micarta ESEE's if anything the G10 is gripper over time, but just slightly, it is also impervious to the elements which is nice. either way it will be a great knife

depends on the G10 run - I have a very grippy 3 and a glass smooth 4.

Thanks I guess I will stick with the 4p and get the micarta

I'm under the impression that your can take some very low grit sandpaper to g10 and it will take on a nice grippy texture... but I do prefer the micarta.

As far as I know, none of the esee 4's have triggers.



Seriously, the 4 is a great knife. I prefer the micarta, but I would be happy with either.
