Hi all,
I have an old pumaster puma Bowie knife, and would like to get a better sheath for it. I found a sheath made specifically for the Puma SGB bowie, but am not sure how similar in dimensions they are to the old ones.
I went to the puma website and they interchangeably refer to the blade length on the bowies as 6.1, 6.5, and 6.7" (????)
went to SMKW and they list the german bowie as 6.5 and the SGB bowie as either 6.1 or 6.5 depending on the handle material.
I thought I would throw this out there to you guys to see if anyone happened to own the SGB bowie and could tell me the actual dimensions.
my pumaster bowie blade measures 6 1/2" long, about 1 1/8" wide and the guard is about 1 5/8 or 1 11/16 long front to back.
