Puma Damascus frame/liner locks - opinions?

I like the Puma fixed knives I have - and many of the stag handled folders - and like them. The Sportec was a buy - and is a keeper, too. I am now looking at some of their Damascus bladed folders - like the 244302 - which reportedly use a 72 layer Japaneese Damascus, but run $42-$75, depending on source. They have a thumb stud - and the same SS and composit handle - with a large clip. They appear to be held together by Torx screws, instead of the Sportec's rivets - a plus, but the liner/frame lock (The Sportec is a lockback.) protrudes a bit in the pix I've seen, perhaps making the grip uncomfortable - and unwanted blade releases problematic. Does anyone have experience with these? Thanks!

Wow, no one has experience with the Japaneese Damascus bladed German made Puma folders? Any remarks would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I bought one of the Pumas off Ebay-Seems to be a quality piece, the damascus has a very nice clear pattern-I think worth what I paid about $50.This one is a linerlock but not flimsy and not uncomfortable in hand--my 2cents-Butch-----------------------Just looked and the model # is244301
