Can someone tell me a little bit about the etching on one side or another on a Puma Skinner Vintage Puma Skinner 11 6393 please.??? I have just noticed my Puma skinners etching is on the opposite side of the blade than other higher priced Vintage 11 6393 knives. When I purchased the knife it said Vintage but it didn't give an exact year like the higher priced Puma Skinners. Just Vintage. Please Help.!!

Do you have one for which you want some information? If so, pictures would be very helpful. Or do you want to know what the etch should look like on a real Puma skinner?

I'm just confused about what's up with this. Do I have to b a paid member to send pics. Or can I give you my email address and send you a couple pics. And maybe tell me what the difference is???

P PETE ROSE : Hope this helps.
Pictures of my vintage Puma 6393 Skinner, a pre-1964 model which means it doesn't have a serial number.
This particular skinner was owned & used for several decades by an experienced Dutch hunter.
The knife is still in very good condition, with an armhair shaving sharp toothy edge.
The sheath has been hand-restitched by me.

It's easiest if you use a third party picture hosting website like Imgur (it's free) and post the pictures here directly.
