This seems to be a brand of knife that everyone has heard of, has even owned at one time or another, but doesn't seem to gender much conversation in this forum. I always liked them because they had a "wicked" blade profile and generally looked pretty good. I realize that they haven't seemed to move beyond the lockbacks. It is funny though that when seeking the type steel for the blades, the subject seems mute. At one time I can even remember someone describing their steel as "surgical" quality.

Perhaps the reason they really haven't gained in popularity (at least in the USA) may be that they don't pan to our interests exclusively as do other manufacturers. Still a decent knife though. Wish I knew more information on the steels they are using.
