PUMA info please, model 625? I think...

Does anyone have any details, dimensions, configuration, etc., especially pictures, of a PUMA 625? I believe it may have been named the Friend.

There was a 'Hunter's Friend', a fb similar to the 'White Hunter', #6388 or 6398, could that be it? 625 doesn't ring a bell, so to speak. Try the 'pumaknifeman.com'.

Thanks. I emailed Brent but have not yet received a reply. I know I will eventually as he's a great guy, probably just busy at the moment. I also asked the creator of the old www.pumaonly.com website which no longer exists. That's where I got the 625 info from but I am trying to get any more info or preferably a picture. According to that person it was simply the "Friend". It is a folder. Here's a picture of what I believe to be Gutmann's Explorer brand equivalent. OAL is 9 1/4", blade is just over 4".

It could very be from the same contractors that serviced Puma. Puma actually hasn't made a knife in years, but has contracted out for piles of them. That knife is very similar to the Boker "2020" series of knives.
