I recently picked up a Puma Plainsman that was made in 1969. I have cleaned it up a bit and it sharpened nicely. I like it quite a bit but it has a little wiggle to the blade when open. Not much, but it bugs me sort of. Is there any way to tighten that up without tearing the knife apart? I suspect there isn't, but I thought I'd ask.

You can tighten it up by putting the bolster in a vice use a piece of leather to protect the brass. Tighten the vise and pinch the bolster the pin will be sticking out of the bolster now you will have to peen it with a ball peen hammer to tighten the pin and blade! Hope this helps. also make sure not to over tighten the blade and that it still swings freely
