PUMA Pony

Looking at the photo, it almost could be a mini tear drop jack. Very rounded bottom end wider than the top, but there are those here with more practiced eyes than mine that can tell. Of course the Germans being German, sometimes make thier own style, like BMW motorcycles and the VW beatle.

The problem is the smaller blade is infront of the main blade, which makes the big blade hard to open as the small blade is blocking 4/5 the length of the main blades nail nick. Do other slipoints of this configuration have the same problem? And is there any way to remedy it?

All of my older slipjoints have that blade configuration, which I prefer. Most modern jack knives have the pen blade behind the main blade, with the nail nick on the opposite side. Some of the master blades in my old ones are hard to open without long fingernails because there is not much clearance with the pen blade in front.

It is more like a regular jack, although it could be argued that the shape is pretty much a small teardrop. Definitely not a copperhead.
