I've searched a few of the forums areas for posts about this kife. There were a few, but not a lot of commentart on its build quality, or hands on opinions.

Can anyone comment on its construction? Do you have this knife, and if so do you like it? Thanks

$225 ??? Smoky Mountain Knife Works April 2001 catalog (just arrived two days ago) lists the Puma TAC 1 Survival Knives on page 25 for $99.00. Knives: there's the tanto (12 1/4" oal), which you see, and a guthook partial serrated spearpoint (11" oal).

Frankly, they look trendy to me. Neither one looks as much use for survival as the Puma stag bowie (10 3/4" oal) for $64.99 pictured below them. Nicer sheath, too.
