haven't tried yet as I haven't been around any wood but my house ha, but I'm not expecting much.

I actually did try to saw the pumpkin pieces but the teeth didn't grab after the pumpkin chunks filled them.

Sounds about right, wood should be a different matter since it isn't mushy.
