I am new to knife collecting. Growing tired of collecting firearms and recently started collecting knives. Started with a Benchmade a friend of mine gave me, then a Marble's Expedition Zero-1. I picked up a couple of additonal Benchmades, Puma Game Warden and a couple of more vintage Marbles, but then saw pictures & articles of Busse knives.

Well that sparked my interest. Bought a BCBM-E with sheath in mint condition, never used or sharpened, a safe queen. Paid $400.00. Thought it was a bit pricy but after I saw it, I thought it was worth it. Can't wait to get my next one. I am looking for a carry knife that can double as a hunting/camp knife. Say around 4-5" Never have seen a Busse prior to buying the one I now have. Need some ideas on what model would best fit as Busse has so many to pick from.

I also need information on how to sharpen the semi convex blade. Every thread mentions they semi convex blade but no step by step procedure. Can I get some help here.

Thank You

Welcome to the madness!

Your abbreviations are real close, but let me make sure I am atleast on the same page.;):)

I think you are saying BCBM-E is a Busse Combat Battle Mistress Ergo. If that is correct... then the correct abbreviation would be BM-E. We dont usualy include Busse Combat in the abbreviations. If am off I apologize. Hope that helps.

cause if thats what youve got... I think you got a real good deal on it:)

and it may look like this....
