purchase of a lnib ZT from a collector

How does zt work the warranty? Is a receipt from an authorized dealer needed to register the knife? Do you have to register it?

I am looking at buying an unused knife from a collector, but all I can find is a statement that the warranty is non transferrable.

Any help is appreciated.
 
Doesn't matter who the knife belongs to, if there is a defect, you can send it in for warranty. :)
 
True that. They'll take care of you. I don't know how many of us around here have bought ZT's off the exchange, but their warranty department takes care of all of us.

Buy with the peace of mind that if any problem comes up, all you gotta do is call/email or send it in :thumbup:
