Hello,
I'm new to this forum but a moderate life-long collector. I was at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Day today in Kentucky and found a new-in-box Intrepid Tanto, cat. # 2747 (smaller one, 5" or so) -paid $50. . Everything appears to be pre- 1999 and legit. It includes a registration and warranty c. 1998 and an Edge200 special offer coupon offer which expired in Dec. 2000. The guy who was selling it was a gun dealer who had a few knives on the side he wanted to get rid of.

I remember Buck offering these knives and wanting one but was spending all my money on baby food and diapers in those years. I've tried to find a value for it online and have seen anywhere from $110-350.
Any ideas?

p.s. He had the full-size version for $65. -too late to drive back now.

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks for the "Hello and "head's up." I've been a fan since my first Dukes of Hazzard episode. I started drooling over the Buckmaster in the late '80's, and bought one as soon as I graduated college in '93.

I was at Knob Creek today and picked up the small Tanto Intrepid for $75. Not as good as your $50, but I'm happy. It was new in the box also. You never know where the good deals will pop up. Take care all.
