Sorry, no scanner right now, so these are approximations.

No, Tom wasn't there, but Larry hooked me up with this great TnT:

Then I started looking for kind of a "do-everything" camping (as opposed to a huge "camp") knife. I stumbled across this Dick Patton (Patton Knives ) tactical. It strikes me as sort of a military / survival / Rambo sort of knife, but mine appears more refined with it's wood (stabilized maple?) scales.

I looks like you picked yourself up a couple of really nice knives. That picture sure doesn't look like stabilized maple, but it is not clear enough to tell for sure.

I have to agree with Keith, that sure doesn't look like maple burl to me. Michael, I think someone pulled a switch on you and substituted a stag handle instead. :D

What can one say about a TNT? It's a TNT!!

I like your Patton fixed blade a lot. I tend to agree that the handle appears more like stag than wood. Unfortunately the pic is not quite well defined enough to tell for sure. It appears to have been dyed sort of a lavender color.

Anyhow, the FB looks great. A very useful looking hunter/utility/fighter shape to it. Nice useful ricasso, guard the right size, it's got it all!
