Purchased my first balisong.

I have been wanting one for so many years and just found out the ban had been lifted on balisong knifes. I just bought my first one ever, the model 62. I'm putti g in an order for model 67 next week. I couldn't be happier. Great craftsmanship. I love it.
 
The ban on them is over now?

Knife laws are weird, so half-assed and super specific at the same time in my state, probably most others as well.
 
Nice knives, but PLEASE check your local laws to make sure you can actually carry Bali's where you live and work.
 
Balis might be legal in my state. Or they might not be legal in my state. I don't think anybody knows but I err on the side of caution. Besides, I wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole. I still remember the first time I touch a sharpened bali. I knew better and still picked it up by the bit handle. It is a miracle I didn't cut myself worse. I swore them off after that but I will play with the trainer I made ever once in a while. [Late night ramble over.]
 
Owning one is legal in more states than carrying one.
Here in CA I can own it, just can't carry it.
