The Millennium Duelist is purpose built for those who train in the Riddle of Steel by James Keating. 12-1/2" of CPM-3V blade with a full length sharpened swedge, and a unique blade-trapping guard formed by forward extensions of the 440C bolsters. OAL is 18-1/2" and the total weight is 15 oz. The handle is dyed and stabilized Maple Burl with mosaic pins.

The knife will have its debut at the Blade Show, where it will meet its new owner.

Hi Jerry, Cool knife... any chance of some up close shots of the guard?

Matt

That is one BEAUTIFUL knife Jerry. Is that knife going to be available as a standard knife? Will a double or single hilt be available? Great work! Looking forward in getting my Millennium Fighter.

Very Scary Jerry!

It simply amazes me that a nice man like you has such a ferocious reputation for making fantastic fighting knives.

That one is really nice. I realize the guard is designed for function, but it sure looks cool. The handle has a decided 'Hossom' look to it as well. Have fun at the show!

The trip to Atlanta will be worth it if I get to handle this one.

This isn't fair.

A man spend time, money and waits for months to get his new Hossom knife, thinking he got the best a man can get.

The said man then proceeds to having the best sheath for the knife and attaches the same to his bed side night drawer to allow himself to pull the knife free at less then a second. The man is happy.

Then one sees a thread like that and thinks to himself? Should I place another order with Jerry?

You guys are right - Jerry is wicked.

Thanks for the nice remarks.

I'll try to get some shots of the guard detail. Basically it is done by just allowing the bolsters to run "outside the box" a little. These are pinned on just like bolsters. I use the separation between the bolsters as a guard device, much like a quillion. In fact, the points are tapered outward so the distance between the points, side to side, is about 1/2". A blade running down the side of this one is most likely to become the property of this knife's owner.

The steel I used in this knife is 0.165" thick.

Oh, and Para, I'm not a "nice man". Thanks anyway...
