Well, my 6" and 8" Purebred Fighters came in today. These blades are AWESOME, to say the least. Despite their graceful, slender lines, they still have that Busse beefiness about them. Heavy and solid. The tips are extremely pointy and sharp, but thick and strong. I think the 6" is better balanced, but I'll have to see how they feel after I cord wrap them.

I eagerly awaited these for over a year. I had pretty much written off ever seeing them. As of last week, I hadn't checked the Busse forums in a few months. Lo and behold, the first day I checked in, these PBFs were offered for sale! It was meant to be, I guess.

These blades are true keepers. It is unfortunnate that they won't be made any more, because they are among the unique. They are truly beautiful pieces. Mr. Busse outdid himself here.

My thanks go out to Mr. Busse and staff for such a sweet product.
 
...still waiting to get mine! Someone must not like us in CA. (or maybe BB just doesn't like me specifically) I will just have to bask in the joy you guys are getting and wait another day or so before I get to join in on the compliments.

Don't feel bad, my box o'toys is still sitting at the shop waiting for a couple of additions. Hopefully I'll get it sometime next week :D:D
 
That's weird Mtnclimber69, I got my MoFos on Saturday...it must be the candy I give to the mailman for the holidays ;).

Woooohooooo! Just got my 6" & 8" PB's... awesome blades, I can't wait to get some handles on them... hmm, micarta, wood, carbon fiber, titanium, bone, cord... so many choices!

Too funny, We, (bladebabe and I) were just on the net tracking your box to see where it might be so we could let you know. Bladebabe is in the bathroom crying as I type because you doubted her!! She does like you it just takes a little longer for you guys on the west coast to get your packages!! But she would never leave you or anyone out!I was going to post and noticed you beat me to it and that your knives did arrive!!Congrats!! I'm glad they finally made it to you!! Happy PBFing!!! HAHA!:D

Hey Shaggi, thanks for checking on me... you guys are great... not sure about Kassi crying, I think she is just nervous about having lost all those pictures she took the night you all got drunk together...and did... wearing... well, they were in my box!!! I will just hang onto them to secure my place in line when the new models come out.

Now now Kassi... I have all the faith in the world in you! It was the post office I was worried about.... those buggers have INFI sensors and I was afraid they would grab my infusion.

Not to worry about the pics... they will remain safe under my pillow.
