Haven't tried storing tabs in Aluminum (spy capsule type containers) yet (always have used glass) but wonder if there is any adverse chemical interaction that will occur?

Would simple plastic wrap help?

Any bonefide chemists out there?

Chlorine or iodine based tablets will corrode (read, react with) aluminum. It might be OK for a few days, but not long term. If you can find a real small Nalgene lexan bottle it is light, airtight, durable, and chemically inert. Also, small plastic vitamin bottles work well. Put some clean cotton in there to damp out tablet shattering rattling about. It can also be used as tinder in a pinch.

Here is some thing that I use for storage of small tablets in kits, take a drinking straw (the big bore ones from fast food places are ideal),cut off a short length, seal one end with the edge of a hot iron, fill with tablets, seal the other end. I've found this method useful for powders and salt too. Once used the piece of straw can be feathered with a sharp knife and used with a hook as a makeshift fishing lure (the bright colours are useful here). Thanks for an interesting forum guys
:D
