Purple Heart Wood Inlay?

Anybody seen one?

Bloodwood is still probably next on my list,
but purple heart might be pretty spiffy.

I don't think we will ever see a Purpleheart wood inlay. I called and asked about it, and was told that Chris said the wood is not favorable to this particular application (or the substance thereof). Something about it has a tendency to crack or split.
