Darnit thats sweet! You do great work. Isn't purpleheart fun. Its ugly as snot, hard as diamonds, burns easier than hell, then when you put a finish on it it changes from a frog into a prince.

Phil, it is a neat knife .. really it is :thumbup: And I always love the design of this knife. The pretty colour of purpleheart is just great for it. It makes the knife looks more lively :D

Darnit thats sweet! You do great work. Isn't purpleheart fun. Its ugly as snot, hard as diamonds, burns easier than hell, then when you put a finish on it it changes from a frog into a prince.

Yeah, then when you go to buff it, the pores clog up with compound, and looks REALLY ugly. :grumpy:

Yeah, I had the same experience with yellowheart. Some purpleheart is pretty, but some, unfortunately, can turn to grayheart over time and exposure to sunlight.
