Here's one I just finished that's going on a local firefighter's belt. Just over 9 1/2" overall, right on 5" tip-to-scales, scales are contoured to fit a large hand (he's about 6'3"), balanced just ahead of the first finger. It's made of 1/4" 5160, with a 3/4 height convex to an almost zero edge, left with an etched finish on the blade, and blued around the handle to match the blade as well as resist corrosion.

Let me know what you think:thumbup:

The blade looks great. Very nice grinds. I love the fact that there's not much ricasso... make the most of that blade-length! The liners are a nice touch, and it appears to be well-built. I like the thong-tube (maybe it could be closer to the butt) and pin-placement (nicely aligned... looks balanced, even though they're a bit above the center-line of the handle... that's better than too low).

The handle looks pretty rough, but I like the overall design. Go a couple grits higher when finishing the visible parts of the tang. Invest in a stencil/etcher for your name... that scratchy "engraved" logo looks cheap.

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but you asked... :foot: :o

That is awesome, I'm really digging that design. I like the blade shape, and the fat, contoured handles look perfect.
